This is one of the best wedding venues for an outdoor wedding in Texas

If I didn’t tell you this wedding happened in Texas, you might think we hopped a plane straight to Greece.

The Olivarez wedding at Stony Ridge Villa was one of those days that made me stop and say — this is what weddings are all about. Beautiful architecture, personal cultural touches, and such a genuinely sweet couple. I photographed and filmed this day and loved every second behind the camera.

Let’s talk about this venue for a second: Stony Ridge Villa is tucked away in Texas but looks like it was pulled straight from a European postcard. White-washed walls, red brick, archways, iron accents, and those tile details — literal heart eyes. The Mediterranean feel was chef’s kiss, and it perfectly matched the vision the couple had.

They brought so much of their Mexican heritage into the celebration, and it was beautiful to witness. Instead of cake? Chrros. And honestly, I’m not mad about it. The mariachi band played during both the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the energy was just so good. Classic, colorful, meaningful — everything tied together in the best way.

Right before sunset, we got the chance to sneak away for rooftop portraits — huge thank you to the owners of the venue for letting us up there! It’s seriously one of my favorite moments of the day. The light, the couple, the architecture, the breeze — all of it. A total standout.

Also, major shoutout to Alyssia Lee & Co. for planning and designing this whole day to perfection. Alicia made everything flow effortlessly and the attention to detail was everywhere — from the layout to the timeline, to keeping everyone relaxed and focused on the good stuff.
